Being all over North America has let me see some pretty neat things, and doing it with my friends has made it that much more of an experience. Thankfully my iPhone camera has seen it all with me.

I’ve had some down time lately and have been trying to organize all my photos, and eventually start putting some more up here. I’ve only got a few for now, but I hope you enjoy them.

New & Exciting Things…

A lot of new things happening in my life lately, and I am very excited to share them with you. Perhaps the biggest news is that I am now playing guitar full time for my dear friend Tyler Bryant. Tyler is an incredible guitar player & songwriter, and his song on the new Guitar Hero 5 is one of the many testaments to that.

Tyler and I have been good friends for about a year now, and this Fall when I finished up my touring he asked if I would be interested in being the 4th member of his band. After you listen to his tunes, you’ll understand why I didn’t even hesitate one bit. It’s been a total blast so far, and I’m incredibly excited for what’s to come.

Last weekend one of our sponsors, Fender Guitars, flew us out to the annual NAMM guitar conference in Anaheim, CA as featured guests. We played a 45 minute set on the Fender stage and had a blast being at the conference and hanging with the Fender crew. Our good friend and tour photographer Andy Merrick took some great photos. I’ve got a few of them posted below, but you can see the rest on his website. Also, check out the Fender video of part of our set on YouTube!

Goodbye 2009

I feel like January is already almost over, and it hasn’t even begun yet. Not sure how I feel about that…

2009 was an incredible and life defining year for me. Sure there have been a fair share of disappointments along the way as well, but lets be honest…I am alive, I’m breathing, and I watched the sun rise this morning. Life is GOOD, because I have been given life. That is what matters, and I’m feeling that more and more everyday.

I want to be known as someone who loves well, who brings people together, and who ultimately gets that it’s not about me. That it’s about the grace and love of a God that dreams bigger than I could ever imagine, and saves me in the process. I am thankful for that, and I’m thankful for another year that I get to watch it all unfold.
